Park Watch Program

About

The Park Watch program is a partnership between the Lowell Parks and Recreation Department, the Lowell Police Department, and City residents to reduce crime, vandalism, and illegal activities in our parks, recreation facilities, and at our trailheads. This program is modeled after the Community Watch program, Park Watch provides citizens guidelines to follow when reporting suspicious activities, helping to keep our parks safe year-round.

When visiting our parks, citizens are asked to be alert for unlawful vandalism (graffiti), safety hazards, suspicious persons/activities, unlawful fires, or other violations of Lowell Parks and Recreation rules and regulations. Suspicious activities or problems should be reported to the appropriate authorities, DO NOT attempt to take action yourself! Citizens should note the location of the incident, describe those involved, and record the license plate number, color, and make of the suspicious vehicle. You can also ask the dispatcher to make your report anonymous.
