The Litter Sweep is an opportunity to help keep our community beautiful and help keep our waterways clean while enjoying the outdoors. Did you know street litter often washes down storm drains, polluting our rivers and streams? That pollution can eventually affect our drinking water once it enters our local watersheds!
This event is held annually in April. Registration opens in February.

9 am-12 pm
Volunteers will meet at Lowell City Hall at 9:00 am for check-in. Walk-up registration is also welcome on the morning of the event.
- Disposable gloves, trash bags, instructions, and maps to cleanup sites will be provided at check-in. Supplies must be returned to the check-in site by 12pm.
- Participants are encouraged to bring reusable work gloves and a reusable water bottle to reduce waste.
