Treat Walk

Participating local businesses will be providing lots of treats at this downtown event! Free to participate!
Line-up starts at 3:45pm at the corner of Mill Street and E. First Street. The Treat Walk will begin promptly at 4:00pm and will conclude by 5:00pm.
Local businesses will be handing out candy on this guided walk around one of our downtown blocks.
The group will be led by adult volunteers. Police and City staff will also assist to ensure the children’s safety.
Have your children get into costume for this fun event in Downtown Lowell!
There is no cost for businesses to participate! Businesses do not have to be located in downtown Lowell. For businesses that are interested in setting up along the route, please contact Tori at tdellinger@lowellnc.com or call (704) 824-3518, option 4.

๐ŸŽƒ When is Treat Walk? Thursday, October 26 from 4-5pm
๐ŸŽƒ Is there a cost? It’s a free event!
๐ŸŽƒ Can parents walk with their little ones? Absolutely!
๐ŸŽƒ Does my kid need to bring a bag for their candy? Yes, please have your kid bring a grocery bag, tote bag, bucket, or whatever they’d like to use to bring home their candy haul.
๐ŸŽƒ Is there an age limit? This event is open to kids of all ages.
๐ŸŽƒ How does the Treat Walk work? Beginning at 3:45pm, kids can begin lining up at the corner of Mill Street and E. First Street. At 4:00pm, our guided walk will begin around that downtown block where local businesses will be handing out candy! The walk will end in the same place the walk started. The walk will conclude by 5:00pm.
๐ŸŽƒ Does my kid need to dress up? It’s not required but we do love seeing all the kids in their costumes!

Please note that Mill Street and part of E. Second Street will be closing at 3:15pm to allow for set-up. We anticipate the streets to be reopened by 5:30pm.
