Due to busy summer schedules of the residents of Lowell and the Police Department, the Lowell Police Department will be hosting a COMBINED Zone Community Watch Meeting on Monday, June 26, 2023 at the First Baptist Church fellowship hall, located at 400 W First St, at 7:00pm. ZONES 3, 4 and 6 are invited to attend. There will be a combined meeting for the other Zones at the end of July. If you are not able to come in July and are available on the 26th, please feel free to attend.
GREAT NEWS! Lowell PD have received steering wheel locks, courtesy of Hyundai. Due to the increased number of Hyundai and Kia vehicles that are being stolen, both dealers are providing communities across the nation with STEERING WHEEL LOCKS FREE OF CHARGE TO US AND YOU!!!!! These have been received and Lowell PD will be giving them out at the next meeting. Please bring a proof of residency with you. At this time, these locks are for cars with key turn ignitions. If you are unable to attend the meeting and would like a steering wheel lock, please send an email to bowen@lowellpd.org. Lowell PD will also be giving them out at July’s meeting and at the the National Night Out event on August 1 at Harold Rankin Park.
If you have any questions/issues that you would like addressed at the meeting or if you have a question about what zone you reside in, please email Sgt. Bowen at bowen@lowellpd.org. We look forward to seeing you there!
