The Communications Department is dedicated to fostering transparency, engagement, and informed decision-making within our community. Our department's goal is to effectively communicate the policies, programs, and services of the local government while actively promoting civic participation and understanding.

Our department is responsible for:

  • creating content, updating, and maintaining the City's website
  • creating content and maintaining the City's social media pages
  • maintaining and posting videos to the City's YouTube page
  • creating the City's newsletters
  • creating Parks and Recreation digital newsletters
  • producing the City's press releases
  • media relations
  • producing and reviewing all other print and electronic communications for the City
