Parks & Recreation

The Lowell Parks and Recreation Department's role is to create a healthy community through diverse and innovative recreation programming. We provide space to learn and play, space to be safe and secure, and space to create and imagine. Our goal is to meet the recreational needs of all of our residents as well as visitors in our wonderful city. We will continue to develop and bring new and exciting programs and events to all residents.

The City of Lowell is currently accepting applications for the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee.

The purpose of the City of Lowell Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee is to make recommendations on recreation policy and grant activities and to offer advice and assistance to the City Parks and Recreation Department and others, as necessary.
