As part of the commemoration of Lowell’s 135th Birthday, the City of Lowell Citizens History Committee will hold the second of nine planned community events on Sunday, April 27th between the hours of 1:00 and 4:00 pm.  This “Peek at the Past” will focus on the physical aspects of Lowell’s history, including the location of former mill sites, businesses, churches, schools and residential areas.  Old photographs, maps, aerial photographs and deeds will all be on display for viewing.  The Committee is hopeful that those attending will bring their own memories and memorabilia in an effort to help the Committee put together a clear picture of the evolution of Lowell.    Light refreshments will be available for those attending, and there will be plenty of stories, memories and fellowship to share!
