Senior Pre-Thanksgiving Luncheon

Thursday, November 20th, 2014, 11:00 a.m. Woodlawn Baptist Church Lowell, NC$3.00 for residents, $5.00 for non-residents.

Includes a full turkey dinner, all the fixings, bingo and entertainment provided by the Gaston Christian choir!

Lowell's History Committee will sponsor the final "Peek at the Past" event on Sunday, November 23rd. This "Peek at the Past" will highlight some of the "best of", most unusual and most interesting items from past events held this year. Newly donated items will also be on display. This will be an opportunity to see your favorite items again, learn about Lowell's history, and mingle with friends. Members of the Piedmont Fiber Guild will be there, sharing their knowledge and skills of fiber and textile history. Hope to see you Sunday from 1-4 at the Lowell Community Center, located at 501 West First Street.

which will take place on Saturday, December 13th from 2:00 - 6:00 pm, with the parade taking place at 3:00 pm.

It's time to sign up for basketball!  The City of Lowell Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for children ages five to fourteen.  The cost is $35.00 for residents and $45.00 for non-residents.  You may apply and pay in person at City Hall or go online to the Parks and Recreation page of the website and pay with Paypal. The deadline for registration is Friday, November 21st





For the Gaston County Adult Nutrition Program.

Spend one HOUR a month delivering a smile and a hot lunch to homebound elderly.  Help is needed in Lowell.
